     DETAILED ITINERARY

SATURDAY DECEMBER 30 - MONTREAL AIRPORT
ACTIVITY: SHOPPING

Arrive at the airport and take possession of your 4WD vehicle. Welcome to the world's second-largest French-speaking city after Paris. For tonight's accommodation we have chosen a comfortable hotel in Old Montreal, Auberge du Vieux-Port****.

Your Authentik travel book will be waiting for you, with all the details of your adventure including a road map indicating your route, as well as a personalised roadbook, a host of practical tourist information, a tax refund form for foreign visitors, a toll-free assistance number, vouchers, etc. We wish you a great stay in the land of snow and winter sports!

Did you know that Montreal is the world's largest underground city? Your hotel is located right next to an entrance to this impressive underground world, with its thousand and one shops - perfect to get your shopping done and to purchase your winter equipment. Take advantage of Canada's lower prices on winter gear!

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES IN MONTREAL
Attend a Montreal Canadians hockey match
Guided tour of Montreal
Biodome (eco-museum)
Local haute cuisine

Authentik Advice: Do not transfer on to another destination directly after your arrival. The flight from Paris to Montreal, for example, is 8 hours long, and what with the 6-hour time change (at 5 pm in Canada it will feel like 11 pm), you will welcome a good night's sleep in Montreal. As well as being more rested, you will be able to do some last-minute shopping for winter gear in the world's largest underground shopping center.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 31 - MONTREAL / LAURENTIANS
ACTIVITY: NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION

Breakfast and departure for the beautiful Laurentians. For the next few days you will be staying at the luxurious Taureau Outfitters, a hotel complex in an enchanting natural setting. There you will participate in winter activities such as snowmobiling, dog sledding, snowshoeing and ice fishing, and you will have access to the thalassotherapy centre with its many treatments and massages... The meals are sumptuous; haute cuisine with a local flavour. A dream location, situated at the heart of Canada's wild open spaces.

Live the magic of a Canadian New Year's Eve with a NEW YEAR'S EVE celebration organized by Taureau Outfitters. Here is the the evening's program:

NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION
- Dog sled ride for the kids, and skating on the lake to traditional music
- Surprise Show
- NEW YEAR'S Feast(5-course table d'hôte)
- Evening of dancing with games and surprises
- Countdown to midnight with a glass of champagne
- End of evening buffet and more dancing

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES ALONG THE WAY
Lunch in an authentic Sugar Shack
A day with an Indian Chief or A day and a night with the Algonquin
Horseback riding in the forest
Jingle Bells for the whole family
Helicopter ride over Mont Tremblant

MONDAY JANUARY 1 2007 - LAURENTIANS
ACTIVITIES: AMERINDIAN CAMPFIRE AND CHRISTMAS STORIES

This morning, a delicious NEW YEAR'S brunch will be served in the dining room. Today you will sit around a bonfire at the nearby First Nations site and listen to your hosts telling traditional stories and legends.

Various other outdoor activities are planned for this NEW YEAR'S DAY 2007. Dinner and bed at Taureau Outfitters.

TUESDAY JANUARY 2 - LAURENTIANS
ACTIVITY: DOG SLEDDING

Breakfast. Today you will experience winter in its most pristine beauty - by dog sled. At the reins of your team of Siberian Huskies, you will glide through the incredible silence of the boreal forest. Half a day out in the vast whiteness of the land of snow, ice and frozen lakes.

Back to Taureau Outfitters for dinner and bed.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 3 - LAURENTIANS
ACTIVITY: DAY OFF (SNOWSHOES, THALASSOTHERAPY,...)

Breakfast. Today is a rest day. What could be better than the wide open spaces of Canada to recharge your batteries and get in touch with yourself? Why not explore the area on snowshoes or cross-country skis, like the "coureurs de bois" of the olden days? Or relax and indulge yourself in a trip to Taureau Outfitters' Thalassotherapy center.

THURSDAY JANUARY 4 - LAURENTIANS
ACTIVITY: SNOWMOBILE SAFARI ON LAC TAUREAU

Breakfast. Today will be spent discovering the winter wonderland by snowmobile. Accompanied by a certified snowmobile guide, let your sense of adventure lead you to the middle of the legendary Lac Taureau. With its Arctic landscape, you will be intoxicated by its mythic beauty. Lunch in a typical snowmobile rest stop, then the adventure continues across frozen lakes and exceptional winter conditions.

Back to Taureau Outfitters for dinner and bed.

FRIDAY JANUARY 5 - LAURENTIANS / MONTREAL AIRPORT (220 Km)

Breakfast. Your last chance to enjoy the tranquility of the winter wilderness before leaving for the Montreal Airport to return your rented vehicle and board your return flight, your heart bursting with snowy memories of Canada.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES BEFORE DEPARTURE
A night in beautiful Quebec City
A night at the Ice Hotel or Tour of the Ice Hotel
A night in a country home
Snowshoeing with a Lumberjack
Sliding at Valcartier Vacation Village
Skiplane flight
Ice Safari in a hot air balloon

Authentik Advice: Count on an extra day for the return trip. For example, if you leave on Day 8, you will arrive in France on Day 9. The return flight is 6 hours long, to which you have to add the 6-hour time change. If you leave at 3 pm, you will arrive in France the next morning at 3 am.
